• You can cancel your class without penalty if you cancel at least 12 hours before the class start time. If you cancel within the 12-hour period, you will lose your class credit. If you have monthly unlimited, 2-week unlimited, or 6-month unlimited membership you will be charged a $25 late cancellation fee. We do this to give customers on the waitlist enough notification time when they are removed from the waitlist.

  • If you don’t show up AND do not cancel, you will lose your class credit OR be charged a $35 no-show fee if you have an unlimited membership.

  • Returning clients are allowed a 5-minute grace period, which is typically the warm-up part of the workout. Please keep in mind that doors will be locked after 5 minutes, and you will not be allowed to enter. Being late to class will equate to not showing up, so you will lose your class credit. If you have monthly unlimited, 2-week unlimited, or 6-month unlimited membership you will be charged a $35 no-show fee.

  • Class credits and memberships are non-refundable and non-transferable to another person. Please check the schedule prior to making a purchase.

    Unused merchandise will be accepted for a refund within 7 days of purchase. After 7 days, a store credit will be issued for up to 14 days. No returns will be provided without a receipt and original tags attached.

  • No, credits in a class pack are not transferable to other people. If you want to bring a friend, we offer gift cards that you can purchase and email to your friend. You will need to enter your friend’s email address when purchasing the gift card. Once your friend receives the email with the gift card, they will need to create an account to book a class with the gift card number.

  • If you get off the waitlist at least 12 hours before class start time, then you will automatically be added to the class. You will receive an email to let you know you’ve made it off.

    If it’s less than 12 hours before cIass start time, then we will text and/or call to ask if you will like to be added to class.

    It is your responsibility to make it to class once you’re off the waitlist. If you don’t show up to class then you will lose your credit or if you have an unlimited membership you will be charged a $35 no-show fee.

  • We cannot adjust or cancel your ClassPass reservation, and we cannot waive the late cancellation fee. ClassPass is a third party service (similar to UberEats or DoorDash in the restaurant world) and we have no control over how they manage their reservations or fees. You will need to contact ClassPass directly if you have any issues or changes.

  • The same cancellation and no show policies that apply to members, apply to all guest. You must cancel your guest’s reservation at least 12 hours before the class start time to avoid penaly.

Studio Policies.

  • No. While the workout at Pulse is on a Pilates-inspired Reformer, it is significantly more intense than traditional Pilates. However, clients will still receive some of the benefits that come from traditional Pilates, such as:

    -It’s a low-impact, so you will not put stress on your joints. This is great for people with past injuries, such as knee injuries, because you will never have to jump or run.

    -There is a high focus on core strength to improve your balance and make you stronger.

  • No. There are similarities between a Lagree workout and the workout at Pulse. However, Lagree workouts are completed at a slow tempo the entire time, while the workout at Pulse combines slow and explosive movements. The change in tempo will make your heartrate fluctuate so that you burn more calories and improve your cardiovascular endurance.

  • If you have an Unlimited Monthly Membership, you get 1 complimentary guest pass per month. You can book your guest through your account.

    If you have already used your guest pass for the month or you do not have an Unlimited Monthly Membership, we offer gift cards that you can purchase and email to your friend. You will need to enter your friend’s email address when purchasing the gift card. Once your friend receives the email with the gift card, they will need to create an account to book a class with the gift card number.

  • No, but it is highly recommended. While it is a personal preference to wear gloves, it is recommended because they will keep your hands from getting sweaty and slippery. Wearing gloves will improve your stability and decrease the strain on your wrist when doing planks, etc. You can bring your own gloves or purchase a pair at the studio.

  • YES! We understand that traditional Pilates has a stereotype of being a workout for women. That is not the case at Pulse as we aim to make the workout challenging and rewarding for everyone! It is especially beneficial for athletes (or former athletes) with tight hips and/or weak hamstrings.

  • Yes you can find our app in the App Store or Google Play.

General Questions.

  • Our studio is located on 5864 Sunset Dr, South Mami, FL 33143. Please use the door on Sunset Dr. to enter the studio.

  • YES! Please arrive 10 minutes early to give us enough time to show you how to safely use our Pilates-inspired Reformer, ask questions, etc.

    If you don’t arrive early, you will NOT be allowed to take the class because we cannot interrupt a class to show you how to use the machine. You will lose your class credit if you don’t arrive early to your first class. No exceptions, so please don’t ask.

  • Yes. Grip socks are required for safety & hygiene. The socks will help stabilize you so that you maintain your balance. You can bring your own socks or purchase a pair at the studio.

  • There is street parking along Sunset Dr., and there are multiple parking garages within walking distance. It is recommend you use the parking garage on the corner of SW 58th Ct. and SW 73rd St.

  • The class is 50 minutes long. The first 45 minutes will be an intense workout, followed by 5 minutes of stretching.

  • Members receive priority booking, and unlimited members also receive 1 complimentary guest pass every month.

  • Yes, you can freeze it for a minimum of 1 month at no charge. If you’d like to freeze it for more than a month, then a $25 freeze fee per month applies after the first month. You must send in a freeze request at least 30 days in advance.

  • You can cancel or change a class without penalty if it’s at least 12-hours before the class start time. If you need to cancel within the 12-hour window, then you will be charged a $25 late-cancel fee. If you do not show up to class and do not cancel, you will be charged a $35 no-show fee.
