Pulse Fitness is committed to handling your data in a secure manner. Please read this privacy policy before using our site, mobile application, services, or products.

This privacy policy explains how we use your personal information and how we protect your privacy when you use our website (www.pulseitout.com), visit our studio, contact us, and use any services, products, events, and mobile apps provided, operated or owned by Pulse Fitness. We may modify this policy at any time. Changes may apply to any personal information we already have on record, as well as any new personal information collected after the policy is modified. If we make changes, we will notify you by revising the date at the bottom of this policy. We will provide you with advanced notice if we make any material changes to how we collect, use or disclose your personal information or that impacts your rights under this policy. If you continue to access or use our services after receiving the notice of changes, you acknowledge your acceptance of the updated policy.

What is Personal Information?

Any information that identifies you. We collect different types of personal information when you’re accessing or using our services or products. You may visit our site anonymously and can refuse to enter personal information, however, this may prevent you from engaging in certain activities. The type of personal information we store is as follows:

1. Information you provide to us.

  • Information you provide to access our services, including name, email address, phone number, mailing address, and password.

  • In order to sign up for a class or to purchase class packs or memberships online, you must provide us with your name, physical address, email address, date of birth, phone number, and payment Information. If you complete a membership agreement or sign up for a fitness event, we also collect information about any health conditions that could affect your ability to participate in a workout. If you do not provide this information, you may not be able to participate in a Pulse Fitness class or event.

  • If you purchase one of our services or products, you will need to provide us with a payment card, including billing information such as your billing address, phone number, and name on the payment card. A third-party service provider stores and processes this information securely for the purchase.

  • Information you provide to us voluntarily by completing web forms, submitting a job application, signing up for our newsletter, participating in polls or surveys, or contributing to blogs, postings, reviews, emails, and any other forms of communication.

2. Information that is automatically collected. When you use our website or mobile app, we automatically collect information about the services you use and how you use them.

  • We collect information about your interactions with our services and products, such as the pages or other content you view, and other actions you perform.

  • We automatically collect log information when you your account. This might include your IP address, access times, hardware and software information, device information, device event information (e.g. crashes, unsuccessful logins, browser type), the web page you’ve viewed or engaged with before or after using the Services, and other relevant information. We collect and monitor this data in order to keep track of the security and privacy of your account.

  • We may use cookies, embedded scripts and other tracking technologies to collect and store information about your use of our services.   • Cameras are installed at our studio to monitor building security and assist in crime prevention and detection. We may collect some personal information about you through our camera system, including your image. We do not share this footage with third parties, unless required by law to do so in the event of a criminal investigation.

  • From time to time, Pulse Fitness may allow you to connect or transfer your information to or from a third-party application or service. For example, you may book classes through a third-party application such as GymPass. If you choose to participate, we may collect personal information about you from the third party.

How do we use your personal information?

We collect personal information for the purpose of providing services and products to you. This includes:

  • How we process your personal information include, but are not limited to:

    • To allow you to view, book, and attend classes or purchase a product.

    • To analyze your use and improve our business based on your preferences.

  • When you create an account, you will receive communications related to our business. Our communications are transactional messages about your account, billing information, your attendance, surveys, support, customer service, discounts you’ve earned, policy changes, or other notifications.

  • We may also use your personal information for marketing, promotional, or sweepstakes related communications and initiatives. How do we share your personal information?

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to others. However, we may share generic aggregated demographic information not linked to any personal information regarding visitors and users with our business partners and trusted affiliates.

  • We use third party service providers to perform certain services for us such as:

    • For data processing and storage

    • To track, analyze, and modify our service offerings

    • To market and advertise our services

    • To assist us in providing you with customer support

    • For IT and security reasons

Withdrawing your consent will not undo or reverse the lawfulness of any previous processing, and in some cases personal information may not be retrieved once shared. Your Rights

You have the right to see the personal information we hold about you. You can view it by contacting us by email or mail (contact information below). We will respond within the time periods applicable by local data protection laws. Other rights include:

a) You may access and edit your Pulse Fitness account information by going to the “Your Account” page. When you update your account information, we may keep a copy of your previous account details for our records and to prevent fraud or other activities that violate our terms, policies and agreements. However, if you do not provide us with some of your personal information, such as your name or email, we will no longer be able to provide you with access to our services and products.

b) You may choose not to provide us with some of your personal information. For example, you are not required to complete any survey we send to you.

c) If you do not want to receive emails from us, please adjust your communication preferences or click the unsubscribe link within the email you received from us. You will not be able to unsubscribe from service-related communications as they are necessary for us to continue offering you the Services.

d) You can delete our app from your mobile device. Deleting our App does not delete your account or the related personal information. If you wish to delete your account completely, please email us at admin@pulseitout.com.  Please note that Pulse Fitness’ deletion of your personal information is subject to limitations, including any applicable legal retention requirements.

e) You can exercise your preferences in relation to cookies by adjusting your browser settings which provide you with the option to refuse or remove some or all browser cookies.

Miscellaneous Things to Note

a) You may find links to other websites, third party applications, or widgets on our website or mobile app that we do not own or control. When you click on these links, they may direct you away from our website or mobile app. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of other sites and encourage you to read their privacy statements. Once you leave our website or mobile application, you are no longer governed by this privacy policy or our website’s Terms of Service.

b) To protect your personal information, we take reasonable precautions and follow industry standard practices to ensure it is not inappropriately lost, misused, accessed, disclosed, altered or destroyed. However, there is always a risk that your personal information gets compromised. We also depend on you to keep your account information secure by keeping your password confidential and taking precautions to keep others from accessing your account. Please notify us immediately at admin@pulseitout.com if you become aware of any unauthorized access to or use of your account.

c) By using this site, you represent that you are at least the age of majority in your jurisdiction of residence or that you have given us your consent to allow any of your minor dependents to use this site. Please contact us if you believe we have collected personal information about a child without consent from their parent or guardian so we can take action to prevent such access and to delete their personal information.
